Acceptable Use Policy
The Simple Version
Come as you are. Don't be a problem.
If you remember nothing else, remember that.
Why This Exists
Swervx is built for communities, creators, and real conversations. Not chaos.
This policy exists to keep the platform usable, safe, and actually enjoyable.
What You Can Do
You're free to:
- Talk, debate, disagree
- Build communities
- Share ideas, content, and creativity
- Be yourself
We are not here to micromanage personality.
What You Can't Do
1. Don't Be a Problem to Other People
- No harassment
- No bullying
- No targeted attacks
If someone asks you to stop — stop.
2. Don't Be a Problem to Groups
- No hate speech
- No discrimination
- No targeting based on identity
You don't have to agree with everyone. You do have to respect them.
3. Don't Be a Problem to Privacy
- No doxxing
- No exposing personal info
- No creepy tracking behavior
If it's not yours to share, don't share it.
4. Don't Be a Problem After You've Been Removed
- Don't evade bans
- Don't create alt accounts to get around restrictions
- Don't follow people across swerves to continue conflict
No means no.
5. Don't Be a Problem to the Platform
- No hacking, exploiting, or breaking things
- No abusing APIs or infrastructure
- No trying to outsmart basic security
We built this. We know how it works.
6. Don't Be a Problem Legally
- No illegal content
- No credible threats
- No facilitating illegal activity
This one should be obvious.
Gray Area Rule
If you're thinking: "This probably crosses the line..."
It probably does.
The Swervx Standard
Be strong enough to be respectful.
You don't need to win every argument, dominate every conversation, or tear someone down to be heard.
How Enforcement Works
We keep it simple:
- You break the rules → action is taken
- Severe violations → immediate action
- Repeated behavior → escalation
Possible outcomes: content removal, temporary suspension, permanent removal.
No shadow bans. No mystery.
Community vs Platform
- Swervx enforces core safety rules
- Swerve owners enforce community culture
Your swerve can be strict, relaxed, professional, or chaotic (within reason). But platform rules always apply.
Storage & Resource Use
- Don't abuse file storage
- Don't upload harmful or malicious files
- Don't treat Swervx like a free dumping ground for garbage
Storage is shared infrastructure. Respect it.
AI Usage (Cortex)
If you use AI features:
- Don't use them to harass, spam, or manipulate
- Don't try to bypass moderation systems
- Don't treat AI output as absolute truth
You are still responsible for what you do.
The Bottom Line
Swervx is built on trust. Trust requires respect. Respect requires behavior.
If you can't operate within that — this probably isn't your platform.
We don't need a thousand rules. We need a few that actually mean something.
Don't be a problem.
